She retired from the United States Naval Reserve with 20 years of honorable service and is currently a school counselor in the Caddo Parish School System.
Veronica has worked in a variety of settings, including behavioral health rehabilitation and schools. She has worked with a wide range of issues such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, low self-esteem, and negative body image. Using a client-centered approach, she incorporates several therapeutic techniques into her work, including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and talk therapy. She believes having a comfortable, serene, and safe place to discuss issues is the first step in healing.
